HSB is a leader in equipment breakdown insurance, specialty coverages, inspection services, and engineering-based risk management for business, home and farm.

Purpose:

Supports the IoT Sensor Support organization through installation scheduling, resource allocation, workload management, and service order coordination. Assists in ensuring field resources are effectively utilized to meet installation demand while maintaining customer service objectives. Monitors schedules, service order inventories, and resource availability to identify operational issues, recommend solutions, and support efficient execution of IoT installation activities. Collaborates with field operations, dispatching teams, installers, and management to optimize workload distribution and installation performance. 

About the role: 

  • No direct reports.
  • Contributes as an individual contributor within the Resource Management and IoT Sensor Support teams.
  • Supports Engineering Operations, Inspection Services, and IoT Sensor Support through scheduling, workload analysis, service order management, and territory planning.
  • Provides recommendations regarding inspector utilization, schedule optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Supports daily operational decision-making through analysis of reports, dashboards, schedules, and service order inventories.
  • Coordinates activities across multiple business groups including Customer Success, Dispatch, Inspection Services, and IoT Operations.

Education and Experience: 

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service, operations support, dispatching, workforce management, scheduling, or resource planning.
  • Experience working with reporting tools, scheduling systems, or operational analytics preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI, preferred.
  • Experience using PeopleSoft, or any ERP software suit
  • Exposure to field service, logistics, installation operations, or IoT support environments is a plus.

  • Understanding of scheduling, workload balancing, and resource allocation concepts.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power BI.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changing business needs
