Turn paragraphs into practice

Explore your future career options as commercial or corporate lawyer. As a legal trainee at Munich Re, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in various areas such as commercial, tax, labour and social law. In addition to our Group Legal and Compliance department, the Claims department and the teams in the areas of (corporate) Underwriting, Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax, and Human Resources are also looking forward to working with you.

Duration: 3 months
Start: Possible on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Hiring units: Different business and central divisions

What we are looking for:

  • Successful completion of the First Legal State Examination in Germany 
  • Ideally, some initial professional experience in a law firm, association, or company 
  • Strong research skills and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment 
  • An independent, results-oriented working style combined with strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
