Daily routine and planning

Morning routine
Get up, shower and get dressed.
Breakfast: muesli with oat milk.

From 9:00
Who is in today?
Make initial phone calls.
What will the day look like and what is on the agenda?
Attend initial meetings.

Jour fixe and Lunch

Regular work meetings (jour fixe).
Favourite meeting: Cross-departmental efficiency jour fixe.

Lunch & chat with colleagues
Lunch together (preferably at the Italian restaurant in the ERGO canteen food court).
Coffee afterwards, either at home or with my team. I like to go to the chic courtyard of Café Central @ ERGO. This is important for team spirit at ERGO. Over coffee, we discuss our thoughts, concerns and personal issues.

Meetings

From 2 p.m.
Meetings
Work meetings, coordination between departments, task allocation.
Goal: Work with colleagues to advance topics within the team and the department – optimise processes and make progress.
Frequent topic: Optimisation of data processes.
Once a week: Regular meeting of all group leaders with the department head.

End of the day

6:00 p.m.
End of the day
A phone call with my boss to wrap up the day. Most meetings are finished by then, and around 6 p.m. we usually have some time to discuss important issues (or less important ones) or review specific appointments.
