Notre stage en actuariat offre une expérience immersive conçue pour faire le pont entre les études et le monde professionnel de la réassurance. Au cours de votre stage, vous serez encadré par des professionnels expérimentés du secteur, aurez l’occasion de côtoyer des membres de la direction de Munich Re, relèverez des défis à titre de membre à part entière de l’équipe et réaliserez un travail concret et significatif. Vous développerez également de solides bases pour vous préparer à devenir un futur leader du secteur.
Présentation du poste
Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec d’autres actuaires au sein de leurs équipes respectives, ainsi qu’avec des personnes clés de l’ensemble de l’organisation au Canada et aux États-Unis.
Responsabilités
Les responsabilités liées au stage varient selon le service auquel vous êtes affecté. Elles peuvent notamment comprendre les tâches suivantes :
Solutions de réassurance individuelle :
Évaluer et communiquer la rentabilité pour les rapports de tarification, les propositions de réassurance
Modèle (AXIS) et faire des recommandations pour les demandes des clients et les devis spéciaux
Évaluer l’impact de la rentabilité sur le nouveau portefeuille d’activités en fonction des changements dans les hypothèses et les méthodologies
Présenter l’analyse, les résultats et les recommandations sur les stratégies clients aux chefs de projet
Préparer des documents pour les présentations aux clients et les communications concernant les solutions de réassurance et les perspectives du secteur par le biais d’études de marché.
Fournir un soutien actuariel aux départements internes (réclamations, sélection des risques, administration, etc.).
Solutions de réassurance collective :
Effectuer des analyses et une modélisation des prix pour les nouvelles activités et les renouvellements
Aider au calcul et à la communication des résultats financiers et des indicateurs de rentabilité
Évaluer l’impact des changements dans les hypothèses et les méthodologies pour divers produits
Fournir un soutien actuariel pour les études de marché, la sélection des risques et les initiatives de développement de produits
Contribuer à garantir que les traités et amendements soient rédigés et signés en temps voulu
Qualifications
Nous recherchons des personnes polyvalentes possédant de solides aptitudes techniques et d’excellentes compétences en communication, et capables d’établir des relations positives avec les clients internes. Nous souhaitons accueillir des professionnels dynamiques, énergiques et collaboratifs qui sont enthousiastes à l’idée de se joindre à notre équipe et qui démontrent le potentiel nécessaire pour devenir des leaders dans le domaine de la réassurance.
Plus précisément, nous recherchons les qualifications suivantes :
Poursuivre actuellement des études de premier cycle en sciences actuarielles, en mathématiques, en statistiques, en finance, en gestion des risques ou dans un domaine connexe, et avoir un excellent dossier scolaire
Avoir réussi au moins un examen actuariel; la réussite de deux examens ou plus constitue un atout
Posséder d’excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, y compris en matière de présentations formelles et informelles
Démontrer une capacité à créer et à entretenir des relations professionnelles positives, ainsi qu’un excellent sens du service à la clientèle
Être en mesure de mener plusieurs tâches et de gérer efficacement de multiples priorités et projets d’envergure variable, tant individuellement qu’en équipe
Faire preuve de solides compétences organisationnelles et d’une grande rigueur à l’égard des détails et de l’exactitude dans un environnement en constante évolution
Faire preuve de leadership, de clarté d’esprit, de curiosité, d’intégrité et de dynamisme
Maîtriser Microsoft Excel, Access et Word
De l’expérience avec AXIS constitue un atout
Préférence pour les candidats ayant une expérience de travail pertinente, ayant déjà effectué au moins un stage (ou environ 4 mois d’expérience stagiaire)

La rémunération pour ce poste varie de950$ à 1 450$ par semaine. Cette fourchette représente la rémunération typique des candidats recrutés pour ce poste.
Ce poste est situé à notre bureau deMontréal, au 1000, rue De La Gauchetière Ouest, et est offert selon un modèle de travail hybride.
Munich Re applique actuellement un modèle de travail hybride qui exige un minimum de trois jours de présence par semaine. Les étudiants doivent s’installer dans la ville où ils travailleront pendant toute la durée de leur stage afin de participer pleinement au programme et de bénéficier d’une intégration optimale. Ce modèle offre une excellente occasion de développer son réseau et ses compétences relationnelles, de s’immerger dans la culture de Munich Re, d’interagir avec son équipe lors de réunions en personne, de partager des moments significatifs et de prendre le temps d’échanger avec son gestionnaire.
