FP&A Financial Specialist
This role combines financial planning, data analytics, and systems leadership to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the HSB business units and functions. The analyst will lead validation efforts for Oracle PCM, develop advanced Power BI models, and co-lead AI initiatives that enhance forecasting, reporting, and automation. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration across the finance organization and a deep understanding of financial systems, data architecture, and analytical tools. Respond to ad hoc requests supporting internal initiatives. Optimize process flows, streamline data workflows, and enhance reporting. Develop automation, conduct QA, and perform data validations to ensure efficiency, and reliability across reporting systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years progressive FP&A or Analytics experience
- Strong operational background
- Advanced Excel skills (including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
- Strong Power BI experience (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design).
- Python experience preferred
- Familiarity with EPM tools such as Oracle Enterprise Planning Management (SmartView, Workforce Planning) is a plus.
- Strong data mining, engineering and analysis skills
- Some business-facing background preferred

- HSB experience
- Strong operational accounting / Finance expertise and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with business teams and analyzing business results
- Strong project management, leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work and influence cross-functionally and ensure stakeholder requirements are satisfied
- Ability to think abstractly in order to be able to link divergent programs and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills – written, verbal and listening
- Ability to work independently and in a team
