Policy Services Assistant
Enter new claims into system, attach policies, and other necessary documentation to facilitate adjusters ability to process claims. In addition, achieve turnaround and production requirements and meet quality expectations. Cross train on at least one horizontal skill within HSB’s Customer Solution Center and/or Quote Prep Department. Provide continued support to HSB’s external and internal customers. Work in a team environment to achieve goals established for Valley Forge Operations.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required
- College Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Experience in providing excellent customer service either on the front-line or in the back office
Knowledge And Skills:
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and ensure assignments are delivered on time
- Strong problem solving, analytical and presentation capabilities
- Excellent PC skills using Word, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Excel Assessment completed with a scoring of 85% or higher
- Strong attention to detail
- Displays a sense of urgency
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of customers
- Demonstrated team behavior, personal and team accountability
- Ability to work well in a stressful, rapid changing environment
