As climate risks intensify, adaptation and resilience become critical for businesses and communities. We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager – Growth Management to lead the development and scaling of our global partner ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the dynamic, international environment of Munich Re Service GmbH.

Your Responsibilities

In this key role, you will own the development, management, and strategic expansion of our global partner network.

Business Development

  • Build, expand, and manage global business development, focusing on strategic partnerships (technology, data, platform, and distribution partners).
  • Define joint business cases, go-to-market strategies, and value creation models.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and emerging market potentials to scale our SaaS portfolio.

Go-to-Market & Commercial Strategy

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales to develop integrated partner GTM strategies.
  • Co-create partner campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, joint events, and co-selling/co-marketing activities.
  • Analyze market, competitive, and trend data to prioritize new partnerships.

Stakeholder Management & Execution Excellence

  • Steer cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Data Science.
  • Negotiate partnership models, contracts, and long-term strategic agreements.
  • Monitor and report on partner performance, KPIs, and scaling impact.

Your Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, Strategic Alliances, or similar functions.
  • Proven track record in building, managing, and scaling strategic B2B partnerships, ideally in SaaS or technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital sales, B2B marketing, GTM strategies, and data-driven products.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into clear messages and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills paired with strong strategic thinking.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, international experience, and fluency in English.
