Capital Partners is a divisional unit within Munich Re’s P&C Reinsurance business dedicated to non traditional risk and capital solutions. 
We operate three profit pools with a global mandate: Parametric NatCat solutions, Weather Derivative solutions and ILS Investments & Third Party solutions. In addition, we manage two value pools that strengthen Munich Re’s P&C Reinsurance strategies & operations: External and Group-Internal Retrocession and Structured Re - prospective and retroactive solutions that enhance Non-Life business units’ value propositions mainly for their (re)insurance clients.
The set-up of Capital Partners is truly international, with core teams in Munich, in New York, in Zurich and in Houston

YOUR JOB

  • Plan and coordinate efficient and cost-conscious business trips for all assigned managers and team members, ensuring a seamless travel and meeting experience.
  • Organize, coordinate and occasionally participate in internal meetings and workshops, as well as meetings and Munich relationship building experiences with business partners.
  • Design and execute administrative tasks and processes to support managers and colleagues, including travel expense accounting.
  • Administer and regularly structure filings Capital Partners internal SharePoints, including our “divisional home” and Records Management.
  • Assist in optimizing documents in terms of design and readability using media- and technology-based tools.
  • Organizing and executing administrative processes for internal meetings, workshops and off-sites   (e.g. Jour Fixes, Renewal Workshops, Planning Meetings, Team Off-site,…) within and beyond

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of professional experience in team assistance and/or administrative support preferably in an international environment
  • Trustworthy personality, handling all sensitive information with the necessary confidentiality
  • Very good command of German and English, both spoken and in writing
  • Strong communication skills with a courteous and service-oriented approach in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Proficient in all Office 365 applications, administrative processes and systems
  • Independent, structured working style, with a passion for organizing, coordinating & ‘getting it done’
  • Curiosity, openness, collaborative and mindset towards new topics, tasks and technology
  • Reliable and detail-oriented work ethics representing Capital Partners to internal & external partners
  • Team spirit, enjoyment in working with people, and a clear service mindset
