Your central role

  • Manage and steer the ERGO Germany Onboarding Program with all workstreams, project staff, PMO activities and budgets to ensure the successful integration of all ERGO Germany entities and employees into the global IT environment of Munich Re Group Technology
  • Define technical targets and migration plans with the program organization and ensure their timely, business‑interruption‑free execution by implementing processes for progress tracking, quality assurance, risk management and mitigation
  • Ensure support and alignment with all relevant internal stakeholders from ERGO Germany business, manage external stakeholders and vendors, and steer change management and communication activities to provide transparency and enable seamless migration
  • Act as central I&O contact for ERGO Germany business and staff and steer the I&O Architecture Forum by aligning project requests with the leadership team and evaluating technical feasibility and target solution designs with a panel of experts
  • Fulfil Legal Manager duties within the German ITERGO I&O organization, including HR topics, financial processes and compliance processes, ensuring that line functions can effectively operate

Your profile

  • Academic degree or comparable professional training and several years (at least 5 years) of experience in leading and managing large, business‑critical projects in an international environment with full responsibility for project results
  • Profound experience in leading and managing change projects with diverse stakeholders, combined with cultural sensitivity and the ability to lead a global team
  • Strong capability to structure complex problems into manageable parts, oversee interdependencies and address them with entrepreneurial thinking, persuasiveness, empathy and creativity
  • Strong analytical and implementation skills with a focus on results and overarching goals, complemented by pragmatic, sustainable problem-solving and strategic foresight
  • Sound knowledge of the insurance and reinsurance market and related business needs, plus a willingness to travel globally on a regular and frequent basis
