This role will be part of the Investment & Asset Management Tower for Group Technology, responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and maintenance of all investment and asset management systems, applications, and platforms. The Tower manages the seamless transition of new systems or projects to steady-state operations and takes ownership of key business relationships, providing accurate metrics on uptime, issues, and resolutions.

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong IT Product Manager to take ownership of the operations and development of IT applications supporting investment performance and reporting processes. The primary focus of this role is on solutions based on SimCorp Dimension (SCD), including modules such as Performance Measurement and Attribution, interfaces to accounting systems, and Crystal Reports.

This position is suited for a technically proficient professional with deep knowledge of SimCorp Dimension architecture, configuration, and data flows, combined with a solid understanding of IT service management, system operations, and application lifecycle management. You will act as the bridge between IT operations, development teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring that the systems are stable, scalable, and continuously improved to support business needs.

Your Job

  • Own and manage the IT applications supporting investment performance controlling processes based on SimCorp Dimension.
  • Ensure stable, secure, and efficient daily operations of relevant SCD modules and related interfaces.
  • Drive continuous improvement and development of your applications to meet evolving business and operational requirements.
  • Manage the operations and extension of interfaces between SimCorp Dimension, accounting systems, and data warehouses to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for SCD and related applications within the investment performance domain.
  • Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with IT service management (ITSM) standards.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT solutions and performance measurement and reporting requirements.
  • Steer and manage external service providers and software vendors, ensuring high-quality service delivery, adherence to SLAs, and efficient collaboration.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and project teams to ensure optimal system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure proper documentation, release management, and operational readiness for all application changes.
  • Support audits, compliance, and security requirements related to system operations and data integrity.

Your Profile

  • University degree preferably in computer science, business administration, or similar qualification
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT application or product management within the financial services or investment management sector.
  • Strong technical expertise in SimCorp Dimension, including configuration, data model, workflows, integration, and reporting.
  • Proven experience with FIPA and Crystal Reports.
  • Experience in international financial reporting (IFRS accounting) and fund accounting.
  • Solid experience in IT service management and operational excellence, ideally with ITIL certification or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing external vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and performance.
  • Deep understanding of investment performance controlling processes, including performance measurement, attribution, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and German
