We value fresh perspectives, so if you’re a recent graduate with strong problem-solving skills, a passion for learning, and an interest in mentoring or supporting others, we want to hear from you. This position is a great opportunity to work on meaningful projects, hone your technical expertise, and grow into a seasoned professional in the field.

Job Description:

  • Collaboration: Work alongside Product Managers, Business Owners, and Solution Architects to understand business requirements and create effective technical solutions.
  • Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, well-documented code and follow best practices, including version control, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate and resolve application issues, providing timely support to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Security & Compliance: Stay informed about emerging security threats and ensure applications align with relevant guidelines and industry standards.
  • Ongoing Improvement: Continuously explore new tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve development workflows and optimize application performance.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Mentor and guide junior team members or support staff, while also learning from senior developers to grow your technical expertise.
  • Agile Practices: Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., scrums, sprint planning) and collaborate within cross-functional teams for efficient product delivery.
  • Iterative, Legacy Frameworks:  Participate in SDLC processes of various frameworks and collaborate within the cross-functional teams for product delivery.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or expected completion within the year).
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or C++) through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
  • Familiarity with modern application architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-based, SOA) and an understanding of how they impact design and deployment.
  • Basic knowledge of databases (relational SQL or NoSQL) and how to integrate them into applications.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) through coursework, project work, or certifications is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a willingness to collaborate and learn from others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to break down complex issues and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Passion for continuous learning, staying updated on emerging technologies, and exploring new approaches to software development.

Preferred skills:

    • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
    • Understanding how these applications fit into the broader insurance technology ecosystem.
    • Willingness to obtain Guidewire certifications as required
  • Cloud Platform Certifications
    • Having (or actively pursuing) credentials for providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP demonstrates cloud proficiency.
    • Shows commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Azure CI/CD and DevOps Tools
    • Exposure to pipelines, repositories, and tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions to automate and streamline development and deployment.
    • Comfortable using Git or other version control systems to manage code effectively.
