We are seeking a collaborative, results-oriented Business Project Manager Sr to lead the business components of complex IT projects. In this role, you will develop project plans, manage risks and resources, coordinate business readiness and change activities, and partner closely with business and IT leaders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Lead Business Project Delivery

  • Use proven project management skills and HSB methodologies to deliver defined projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop integrated project plans and team assignments, and direct and monitor work efforts throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of business requirements, process designs, and specifications for application development.
  • Identify resource needs, conduct quality reviews, and escalate functional, quality, schedule, and delivery issues appropriately.
  • Coordinate communication across the enterprise, track key milestones, and adjust plans or resources to meet business needs.
  • Measure and report project performance, manage scope and change, and control schedule, cost, and quality.

Business Readiness, Change & Value Realization

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing planning and execution.
  • Develop and execute business readiness, operational rollout, communication, training, and change management plans.
  • Drive value tracking, including the definition, execution tracking, and post-project realization of business benefits.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, remove business roadblocks, verify that project goals have been achieved, and document lessons learned.

Business & Technology Partnership

  • Ensure effective coordination between business and IT resources and adherence to PMO practices.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to estimate project timelines and align delivery expectations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business and IT leaders, representatives, implementation partners, and vendors.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to support effective partnerships and purchasing compliance.

Business Transformation Office Support

  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and systems, and recommend solutions that enhance business operations.
  • Develop and perform cost-benefit analyses, including the business implications of technology solutions before and after implementation.
  • Support complex data, analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence initiatives by translating business objectives into clear plans, decisions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies, procedures, business ethics, safety, and best practices.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • 8+ years of experience as a business or IT project manager and/or business analyst.
  • PMP or PMI certification desired.
  • Experience leading change and managing transitions is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a matrixed resource model and managing stakeholder expectations across divisions.
  • Experience supporting complex data, analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or artificial intelligence initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating business and technology stakeholders on data-related projects, including data readiness, migration, conversion, quality, or validation activities, is preferred.

  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, process orientation, and troubleshooting skills, with a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees, leaders, external agencies, implementation partners, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including Waterfall and Agile, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
  • Ability to manage all phases of the project life cycle and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of data, analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence concepts is preferred; hands-on technical development experience is not required.
  • Ability to translate data, analytics, and AI-related concepts into clear business objectives, project plans, decisions, and measurable outcomes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, security, compliance, and responsible AI considerations is preferred.
