Tax Intern – Summer 2026

Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities.

The Opportunity

In this position, the Tax Intern will gain real working experience by learning how to prepare various corporate tax returns within a large corporate tax department.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare premium tax return and estimates
  • Prepare corporate state income tax estimates, extensions, and returns
  • Prepare corporate federal income tax returns 
  • Assist in coordinating mailing and processing of tax returns
  • Respond to various state and federal tax notices

Qualifications

Grade Level: Undergraduate Freshman, ­­Sophomore,  Junior, or Senior 

Preferred Majors: Accounting
Computer Skills: Excel and Word

This role will be based in Princeton, New Jersey The base range for this internship will be $20 - $23 per hour. The hourly estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate will include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
