Business Analyst Accounting and Reserving (m/f/x)

Your central role

• Advising departments on designing future-oriented and efficient business processes using innovative technologies
• Proactively gathering, analyzing, and describing business requirements, including the creation of use cases and user stories
• Supporting the development and optimization of IT solutions for business processes such as IFRS 17 and Solvency II
• Creating and coordinating solution-independent, technical requirements with the departments, as well as obtaining the corresponding approvals
• Close collaboration with departments, staff units, and portfolio management to prioritize and assess needs and to assist in creating business cases

Your profile

• Completed studies in insurance, mathematics, business informatics, or computer science, alternatively a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in one of these areas
• Good English skills, both spoken and written, ideal for working in international teams and projects
• Solid knowledge of closing processes according to IFRS 17 and Solvency II as well as financial reporting
• Strong communication and mediation skills for successful collaboration with various stakeholders and in an intercultural context
• Extensive experience in business and process analysis, requirements modeling, as well as market knowledge in technologies such as artificial intelligence, analytics, and robotics
