Internship Program:

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our summer internship program. As an intern with American Modern, you will gain practical experience, build professional relationships, and contribute to the success of our organization.

American Modern has several internship opportunities in Marketing and Sales and will work with mentors to learn firsthand what it’s like to pursue a career in Marketing at one of the world’s largest reinsurance companies. Apply today if any of the below internships sound exciting to you! 

We have two internship positions available:

Marketing Strategy Intern

• Assist in pulling and compiling website data to inform marketing strategies
• Support web design by posting minor updates to our Wordpress sites
• Help schedule email campaigns and assist with coding of emails
• Work closely with the marketing team to gain a deeper understanding of marketing principles and practices

Inside Sales Intern

• Learn about American Modern's sales distribution and the fundamentals of property and casualty insurance
• Complete Sales ACT Training to develop essential sales skills
• Understand how American Modern fills the gap with agents who write standard market products
• Participate in sales meetings, team meetings, and account calls to gain hands-on experience

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
• Confidence in use of MS Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Notes, Teams).
• Candidates must be local (Amelia, OH) and have reliable transportation due to the hybrid work schedule.  Interns  and will work in the office at least 2 days a week.
• Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position.
