As a Project Manager you will be accountable for executing a diverse range of projects. You will also deliver the agreed scope on time and to budget to achieve successful project outcomes, working with Enterprise Architecture, Service Delivery, Application Teams and external managed service providers and vendors globally.  

Your Role: 

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
  • Ensure adherence and adoption of Munich Re’s project management methodology – ‘One Essentials’
  • Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
  • Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
  • Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
  • Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.  Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
  • Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
  • Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget, in accordance with approved authorities and change processes.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

Your Profile:  

  • University degree preferably in IT, Business Administration or similar field
  • Prior relevant knowledge of Program and Project management methodology and tools
  • Demonstrated good personal organizational skills and ability to coordinate the efforts of others globally in the delivery of projects
  • Recognized as proactive and with high problem solving competence
  • Open to continuous learning and agile development mindset
  • Analytical thinking and action oriented
