Credit Reviewer/Underwriter Bond Insurance (m/f/x)

Your central role

• Conducting credit analysis and evaluation of commercial/industrial companies
• Deciding on the allocation of surety limits and bonds, including the assessment of collateral, pricing, and proposal preparation
• Reviewing and approving applications for surety limits and bonds, as well as coordinating bond texts. In this role, you will work closely within the credit reviewer/underwriter team and with the operational and claims staff of the bond insurance division
• Responsibility for your own client portfolio, continuously developing it and maintaining relationships with distribution partners

Your profile

• Completed degree in economics or a comparable university program, or a commercial training in the insurance industry or as a bank clerk
• Extensive experience in credit assessment (underwriting) in bond insurance, banks, or leasing companies with commercial clients is required. You have solid knowledge in financial analysis and credit assessment of companies
• You demonstrate strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking, a structured approach, as well as a confident demeanor and strong communication skills
• A high level of commitment characterizes you, as does your team spirit, initiative, and performance and results orientation
• Knowledge of the surety/bond business in the construction industry as well as in machinery and plant engineering ideally rounds off your profile
