(Senior) Actuary Calculation & Infrastructure (m/f/x)

Your central role:

• You calculate the technical provisions for the international accounting standards IFRS 17 and Solvency II for health insurance and life insurance products sold by ERGO Group AG in Germany
• You conduct actuarial projections for annual and quarterly financial statements, risk calculations, and planning and sensitivity calculations using the stochastic and deterministic corporate models of the insurance companies in the Prophet software
• You prepare the results of the calculated models for further processing. You analyze them, ensure their plausibility and add comments
• You maintain, support, and further develop the actuarial corporate models in Prophet, as well as optimize and automate surrounding systems and interfaces
• You shape the operational environment of the calculations as a Product Owner and contribute to the future of actuarial modeling at ERGO

Your profile:

• You hold a university degree in mathematics, physics, or a similar field
• You have several years of professional experience in actuarial modeling, cash flow projections, and Prophet software
• You possess knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and Solvency II
• You have strong analytical thinking skills, as well as communication and teamwork abilities
• You work independently and are ideally a member of the DAV (German Actuarial Association)
