Job Summary
The Regional Talent Development & Learning Specialist is a regional strategic enabler for talent development and learning, ensuring the adoption and business‑relevant application of global and regional talent strategies across the region.
You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and business leaders to strengthen leadership capability, talent pipelines, and development outcomes, while ensuring consistency with global frameworks and standards. Reporting to the Regional Head of Talent Development and Learning based in Singapore, you will contribute to global talent development and learning projects. You will also help promote a learning culture through continuous engagement across the region.
Your Role
- Be a regional specialist and trusted internal consultant for talent development and learning, ensuring you embed development considerations in people, leadership, and talent discussions.
- Ensure adoption and business‑relevant application of global and regional talent development and learning strategies across the region, applying contextual judgement where needs require.
- Use strong understanding of the business to ensure learning and development interventions are linked to priorities.
- Shape and strengthen talent reviews and succession discussions by applying a dedicated development lens, ensuring the quality, relevance, and follow‑through of development actions.
- Ensure talent development initiatives for key talent segments, aligned to global frameworks and regional priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and leaders to identify capability gaps and development priorities through structured learning needs analysis.
- Foster a strong learning culture across the region through continuous engagement, advocacy, and visible sponsorship of learning and development.
- Ensure learning offerings are visible, accessible, and relevant, supporting sustained participation and ownership of development across the business.
- Promote continuous learning and development as a core enabler of performance, growth, and leadership effectiveness.
- Actively contribute to global talent development and learning projects, representing regional perspectives and supporting scalable solutions.
- Provide structured feedback on global programs to support continuous improvement and long‑term sustainability.
- Coordinate and oversee external learning partners to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with global frameworks and business needs.
Your Profile
- Established professional experience in talent development and learning roles within regional or global organisations.
- Demonstrated competencies in designing, allowing, and delivering leadership development, talent, or capability‑building initiatives in complex environments.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management capability, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with internal stakeholders and business leaders.
- Ability to connect talent development and learning initiatives to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to use data, insights, and evidence to influence decisions, assess impact, and guide prioritisation in talent development and learning.
- Structured and outcome‑focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a regional environment.
- High cultural awareness and able to work across diverse countries, cultures, and leadership styles within a regional and global context.
- Comfortable operating within a global HR matrix and contributing to regional and global collaboration.
- Experience working in or with regulated industries, with an understanding of governance, risk, and compliance considerations as they relate to talent development and learning, would be beneficial.
