The Human Resource Associate is responsible for day-to-day employee support and administration of regional human resources programs, plans and initiatives spanning benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development, staffing, and work/life. In this role, you are also responsible for maintaining the SuccessFactors and HRIS (SAP-HR) data changes for all employees regardless of employment status.
Requirements:
- Provide guidance, interpretation and application to employees, retirees, and external clients, regarding the administration of all human resource related policies and programs with a sense of urgency as well as confidentiality
- Maintain on a consistent basis and high level of accuracy the HR data for Personnel Actions and Organizational Management.
- Participate in the onboarding of new hires and ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and submitted timely.
- Administer and maintain a knowledgeable understanding of, and interpret all human resources policies, procedures, standards, programs and plans to new and existing employees, including management.
- Collaborate with other departments within HR with the view of bringing relevant and accurate information for employee queries
- Generate and analyze Ad Hoc reports as requested for all levels of leadership, ensuring all reports contain accurate data.
- Analyze critical issues and prepare recommendations for enhancements or changes to HR procedures, systems and practices.
- Provide administrative support when necessary and participate in projects as requested by management.
- Participate in building library of templates, forms, FAQ’s, standard email responses and process and procedures that increase efficiency and service quality
- Interface with vendors and other departments within the organization for data transfers, and other transactions if needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 1-2 years in HR administration.
- Must possess a fundamental understanding of basic HR programs and issues such as; benefits plans, EEO, FLSA, incentive compensation, employee relations, etc.
- Ability to prioritize and organize a substantial workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent consultative and customer service skills to effectively interact with various levels of employees.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems, by using judgement consistent with policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as Human Resource Information Systems experience required.
The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company’s Princeton location.
The base salary range anticipated for this position is $58,000- $88,000plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
