The Digital Product Manager owns the client (B2B) partnership lifecycle management platform (known as Grand Central, built in-house on Microsoft Dynamics). This is the central repository and processing application for all lifecycle activities with, and 360-degree knowledge of, our clients and prospects. The role sets the vision and roadmap for the platform and is accountable for making it the trusted, everyday source of client information for our client-facing and operations teams, as well as enabling advanced business capabilities leveraging digital experience, AI, and more.

The Digital Product Manager learns how client-facing teams work and what they need before and after every client interaction and turns that into a prioritized roadmap. The role leads improvements that make client information easier to find, trust, and act on, from data quality and document management to client insights and reporting that help our people walk into client meetings prepared. The Digital Product Manager guides the Digital Product Owners who manage the platform's backlog, partners with a dedicated IT delivery team, and works with business leaders and user champions to drive adoption and measure results.

The role calls for strong data and analytical skills, comfort with data quality and governance, expertise in ownership of a core business solution, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and technology without direct authority.

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of combined experience in product management, business analysis, systems implementation, or related experience, including leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. Insurance experience preferred, especially P&C insurance or reinsurance.
  • 5+ years owning, implementing, or enhancing CRM or client management platforms in ways that resulted in measurable business outcomes
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
  • Product management training and/or certification (e.g., Pragmatic, SAFe POPM, CSPO, PSPO) preferred; substantial hands-on experience with the Scaled Agile Framework on transformational initiatives involving core business solutions with digital capabilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • CPCU designation preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Outcome-focused: measures success by adoption and business impact, not output
  • Expert understanding of product management practices, including discovery, roadmapping, and prioritization
  • Strong understanding of CRM data models, data quality, and document management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics capabilities and constraints, and with integrating CRM or client management platforms with other enterprise systems
  • Understanding of how B2B client-facing teams in insurance or reinsurance work, including client agreements, rates, and state filings
  • Ability to define KPIs and analyze data to make decisions and deliver insights
  • Sound judgment when prioritizing with incomplete information, including the ability to say no
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with audiences from executives to frontline users
  • Indirect leadership and strong ability to influence across business and technology
  • Demonstrated commitment to readily accept and personally adapt to change and encourage others to embrace it as well
