Drive the end-to-end digital strategy of HSB’s Specialty Reinsurance Portfolio Business Model across our Portfolio Risk Solutions (PRS) and Custom Risk Solutions (CRS) divisions by staying ahead of insurance industry and B2B and B2B2C digital connectivity trends. Assess the current digital offerings that serves internal users and external customers and drive a digitization evolution across the Assumed Business model that is both scalable and consistent. Engage with clients to better understand their capabilities and needs.  Collaborate with insurance Product Managers to refine the product/service portfolio to ensure it is as digitally native as needed.  Collaborate with Enterprise Digital Customer Experience, Business Transformation Office and IT to ensure the digital technology solutions meet the digital needs of clients with both market leading CX and an appropriate level of cost efficiency.  Be part of the multi-disciplinary Digital Champion network within HSB and Munich Re to leverage the tools and thinking of the broader Group.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Information Management, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Graduate degree or specialized digital strategy experience is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital products and platform adoption and execution in digital strategy or customer-focused roles
  • Experience in the ideation, creation, and implementation of enterprise solutions to support both business and customer needs, and/or experience with customer-centric design and user experience
  • Expertise in digital solutions with B2B and B2C experience, specifically in the insurance/finance industry
  • Experience working in the technology consulting industry is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to perform deep analysis, problem-solve, and articulate information concisely and precisely to various audiences
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, translate ideas into actionable recommendations under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of data services and APIs, embedded business models, etc., and how they integrate with partner sales and service experiences for our clients, their partners/agents and customers
  • Superior interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build strong relationships across functional areas
  • Ability to make informed, confident, and timely decisions
  • Experience in cross-functional projects or digital implementations
